Hello Fungi and Fiber Friends!
We wanted to send you all a quick note that you have not missed our second registration.
After unexpectedly selling out on our first day of registration on January 2nd, we announced a second round of registration by the end of January. We have been working diligently to make this happen and it has taken longer than expected. We are close, though! Thank you for your patience in this registration process. We are looking forward to getting all things fungi and fiber ready for the symposium.
To accommodate additional attendees, we have added more teachers, classroom spaces, and forays. Our class schedule is nearly complete and we are very pleased to be offering a variety of dye and fiber craft classes. Class registration will take place in May. Thank you to the dozens of fiber artists who will share their talent with us!
Our next – and final – round of registration will open on March 14, 2020 at 9 am PDT on our new website at https://iffs2020.myshopify.com/. We will have a limited number of symposium tickets with lodging accommodations in both private and shared rooms. In addition, we are thrilled to announce a handful of offsite tickets (no lodging included) to attend the symposium.
If you would like to camp or stay in your van/RV during IFFS, you will need to purchase an Offsite Ticket for the Symposium and make your camping reservation through the Washington State Parks Camping website (select Fort Worden State Park) or call 1-888-CAMP-OUT. There are two campsites at Fort Worden: the Upper Forest Campground (recommended location; 1 minute walk to IFFS activities) and the Beach Campground (10 minute walk to IFFS activities).
We look forward to seeing you in October.
The IFFS 2020 Team
